There are so many beauty trends, and I always feel like I am 1,000 trends behind. You should have seen the look on my face when Billion Dollar Brows told me they had a product that creates “sexy, sparkling brows.” The ‘sexy’ part I get. I love Billion Dollar Brows products. See my previous review of their brow kit here. But ‘sparkling’? I mean, I’m just finally getting my eyebrows to a point where they are on fleek. This whole ‘sparkling’ business felt like a curveball to my beauty routine. But I sort of beauty, and that also means that I sort of always find new products interesting. So, I tried it out.
Yesterday was the first day of Spring, but it sure didn’t feel like it. Millions of Americans were hit with more snow and frigid temperatures. Here in New York, we got 5 inches! Today, the sun was shinning and pretty much melted all the snow from yesterday – let’s hope that’s the last time we see snow until next winter.

Gosh, it’s already March. Time sure flies when you’re having fun, and so far, 2015 has been pretty damn good. I’m excelling professionally and personally, and creativity has a lot to do with my growth. One of the things I am doing more in 2015 is switching up my beauty routine. It sounds so simple, but a new lipstick, or a new mascara can do a lot for one’s self esteem. That’s why I love receiving a Birchbox every month. It fuels my creativity, and in many ways, boosts my perspective and self esteem. Every month, Birchbox has a theme, and this month’s theme is ‘Creativity’. I feel most creative when I open up I Sort of Beauty on my computer. I am able to write down anything I want and share it with you all. For me, blogging is just a hobby. I don’t get paid to do it. I do it on my own time, whenever I want. But for most of the people that I have come across, blogging is a job. It’s a full-time commitment that pays the bills and puts food on the table. Blogging can easily become a job through product review, advertising, and endorsements. This week, a “company” wanted to collaborate with me on I Sort of Beauty, and it didn’t take long for me to realize that it was a fake solicitor.
