Gosh, it’s already March. Time sure flies when you’re having fun, and so far, 2015 has been pretty damn good. I’m excelling professionally and personally, and creativity has a lot to do with my growth. One of the things I am doing more in 2015 is switching up my beauty routine. It sounds so simple, but a new lipstick, or a new mascara can do a lot for one’s self esteem. That’s why I love receiving a Birchbox every month. It fuels my creativity, and in many ways, boosts my perspective and self esteem. Every month, Birchbox has a theme, and this month’s theme is ‘Creativity’. I feel most creative when I open up I Sort of Beauty on my computer. I am able to write down anything I want and share it with you all. If you don’t already know, Birchbox is a monthly subscription box that is curated from your personal beauty profile. Each month, you receive 4-5 samples of deluxe size beauty products. Here are the products I received:
L-R: It’s a 10 Miracle Leave-in Product, Jelly Pong Pong Glow Getter Highlighter, Elite Therapeutics Rosemary Eucalyptus Body Crème, Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish, Roloxin Lift.
It’s a 10 Miracle Leave-in Product: I highlighted and colored my hair two years ago, and it made my hair extremely dry. There are some products that have worked wonders on my hair, but it’s not quite back to its normal sleek, shiny state. It has gotten way better over time, but is a work in progress. This 10-in-one product is used to treat hair damage from brittleness to frizz.
Jelly Pong Pong Glow Getter Highlighter: I keep thinking this is a nail polish. I knew I was getting a highlighter, but even when I got the product and took it out, it smelled and looked like a nail polish. I love a good highlighter, but because of the smell, I’m unsure about this liquidity glitter bottle. I tried this champagne colored highlighter on my hand and it does not appear that they staying power lasts longer than a few hours.
Elite Therapeutics Rosemary Eucalyptus Body Crème: I love when Birchbox knows I am running out of products and sends me new ones to restock. BFFs! This cream is 70% organic and claims to soothe and nourish skin.
Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish: I have been WANTING to try this product ever since I joined Birchbox 9 months ago! This cleanser is a British award-winner and Birchbox favorite that uses a two-step process to cleanse and purify the skin. I definitely can’t wait to try this out.
Roloxin Lift: I loveee facials masks. This mask claims to reduce the look of wrinkles and pores. it lasts up to 24 hours, so I’m glad I received two packets for double duty care 🙂
Overall, I love my box, as always. What did you get in your box this month? When do you feel most creative? Tell me in the comments section below!
