There are so many beauty trends, and I always feel like I am 1,000 trends behind. You should have seen the look on my face when Billion Dollar Brows told me they had a product that creates “sexy, sparkling brows.” The ‘sexy’ part I get. I love Billion Dollar Brows products. See my previous review of their brow kit here. But ‘sparkling’? I mean, I’m just finally getting my eyebrows to a point where they are on fleek. This whole ‘sparkling’ business felt like a curveball to my beauty routine. But I sort of beauty, and that also means that I sort of always find new products interesting. So, I tried it out.
FIRST IMPRESSIONS: Wow, there is a lot of glitter here. What the hell did I get myself into? What am I supposed to do with all this glitter? I literally panicked when I opened up the tubes. I have been wearing a lot neutral looks (or no makeup at all) so I think it’s important for your brows to be groomed and stand out. But to add glitter is taking it to a whole new level. The brow glitters are available in two shades: Stardust, a vintage gold and Pixie, a reddish pink. They feel very lightweight but the lasting power is amazing due to the gel like consistency. I expected the glitter to fall off after the glitter dried up, but it stayed in place for the entire day. It doesn’t feel sticky, which is a big plus. The brush is a fine tip brush applicator, which gives you a more precise application to apply on your eyelashes or on top of your lash line.
Directions: Shake well and apply generously to the brows in gentle, even strokes until you reach the desired pop of sparkle.
In all honestly, this is a very fun product. However, if you like keeping your look subtle and natural, I say this works great as a mascara add-one to make your mascara pop. Would I ever wear this on my brows to work? Probably not. Would I ever wear it to go out to the club? Probably.
